Dreaming of a Treehouse Wedding? This North Carolina Venue Is Made for Micro-weddings

Microweddings are having a major moment, and it’s easy to see why. They’re budget-friendly, deeply personal, and give couples the chance to celebrate in a way that feels true to them. With 20 or fewer guests, you can splurge on treating your closest friends and family to an unforgettable day or booking the honeymoon of your dreams.

If you’re searching for a unique and intimate venue, look no further than The Treehouse at JuneBug, located just 12 minutes north of Asheville, North Carolina.

This two-story treehouse is supported by two old-growth Red Oak trees and feels like something out of a fairytale. It’s cozy, elevated (literally), and designed with small weddings in mind. Whether you’re a nature lover, a fan of whimsical spaces, or simply want to do something different, this venue checks all the boxes.

Surrounded by the Pisgah Mountains and a lush tree canopy, the setting is as scenic as it is serene. After the ceremony, you and your guests can gather around the charming cocktail area and firepit at the base of the treehouse. It’s the kind of space that invites connection and unforgettable moments under the stars.

The venue also offers an all-in-one microwedding package that takes care of many key details. Included in the rental are tables, chairs, glassware, a beautifully decorated wedding cake, flowers, an outdoor speaker system, and professional staff to help everything run smoothly. It’s designed to make the planning process feel simple and stress-free.

What’s not included: an officiant, alcoholic beverages, and a photographer.

That’s where I come in.

Intimate weddings like this are some of my absolute favorite events to photograph. There’s something incredibly special about smaller celebrations. The quiet emotions, the candid moments, and the genuine connections all stand out in a powerful way. The natural light and rustic surroundings also create the perfect atmosphere for beautiful, timeless photos you’ll treasure forever.

If you’re planning a microwedding at The Treehouse at JuneBug, I’d love to be a part of your day. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to see more of my work.
