Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What types of sessions do you offer?

A: Justin Clark Photography offers wedding photography and videography along with headshots and family portraits!

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style is very much in my tagline. Have fun, be easy and make great photos. I want to make my clients as comfortable as possible in front of the camera while creating images that they will cherish for years to come! I am inspired by (and still shoot) a lot of film. So my style is warm and natural feeling.

Q: What if we are awkward in photos? Can you work with that?

A: YES! My absolute goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible in front of my camera while creating images that you will love!

Q: How many photos should I expect and what is your turnaround time?

A: Every session is different, so it’s hard to put an exact number on the amount of photos you will receive. But I do not charge extra to deliver all of the photos that I edit.

Q: Do you travel for sessions and weddings?

A: Yes! I love to travel and would love to go on an adventure with you! Let me know what you had in mind and I will make it happen!

Q: What are your payment terms? Do I need to sign a contract? Are deposits refundable? What’s your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

A: Like everything that I do for my clients, I try to make this as easy as possible too! I do require a signed contract and 50% retainer to reserve your time on my calendar. I will and can reschedule to the best of my ability due to inclement weather(but I like to shoot in the rain too if it’s safe 😀). But in the event that you need to cancel your sessions for any reason, the retainer is non-refundable.

Q: Can you help us find a videographer in a similar style?

A: I can! Me! I regularly photograph and video weddings at the same time! And when needed can pull in a 2nd shooter to help.

Q: What is the best time of day to shoot for lighting?

A: Early mornings and late afternoons are typically the go-to’s for the “best” outdoor lighting. But I have shot at all times of the day and know how to use the available light to create great images!

Q: What can we expect to pay for wedding photography coverage?

A: Wedding packages start at $2,000! Click here for my pricing guide. I can tailor a package to fit your needs!

Q: How long will our session take?

A typical portrait session lasts about an hour and goes up from there! It all depends on what you are looking for in your images.
